# Did This Help
Did This Help is the feedback loop for noticing whether a [[Well-being Practice|well-being practice]] changed [[Well-being|well-being]].
## Meaning
Smallest result loop:
```text
Did this make the next moment easier, harder, or about the same?
```
Result first answer:
```text
Easier, harder, or about the same is enough.
If that is all you can tell, stop there.
You can keep the result private. Noticing is already useful.
Only add details if they are public-safe and useful.
```
Lightweight loop closure:
```text
Answer easier, harder, or about the same.
You can stop here.
No score is needed.
Details are optional.
Public feedback is optional.
```
Immediate closure:
```text
If you can answer only one thing, answer this:
Easier, harder, or about the same?
That answer can stay private.
The loop is already complete.
```
You do not need to score yourself.
Share only when sharing would make the public graph more useful.
If sharing feels like effort, exposure, or a request for care, stop and keep the result private.
Use the answer lightly:
| If the next moment feels... | Do this | If public-safe, share |
|---|---|---|
| easier | keep the practice available | what helped |
| harder | stop, make the practice smaller, or choose [[The Brotherhood Care Path|support]] | only the fit problem, not private details |
| about the same | try a smaller practice or rest | what stayed unclear |
If the result is too private, clinical, urgent, or identifying, do not put it in the public graph.
Feedback is optional. The public graph does not need every result.
Only if details would help the public graph, use this simple result:
```text
Practice:
Before:
After:
Fit felt right / fit felt wrong / too early to tell:
Helped / did not help / unsure:
Next action:
```
If you share feedback with Joe or The Brotherhood, do not include private health details, crisis details, names, or anything you would not want handled outside a clinical system.
Use [[Practice Result Loop]] when the result should change a public note, route, practice, or definition.
Use [[Mynd Feedback Loop]] when the result is public-safe enough for Joe and Codex to review as a signal.
The public-safe feedback form is:

One-click public-safe result links:
Use these only if the tiny answer is public-safe enough to share.
Private noticing is already enough.

- [Harder](https://josephniemchak.com/feedback?type=practice&source=Did%20This%20Help&result=harder)
- [About the same](https://josephniemchak.com/feedback?type=practice&source=Did%20This%20Help&result=same)
If you already know whether the practice fit, use the smallest fit handoff:
- [Easier and fit felt right](https://josephniemchak.com/feedback?type=practice&source=Did%20This%20Help&result=easier&fit=right)
- [Harder and fit felt wrong](https://josephniemchak.com/feedback?type=practice&source=Did%20This%20Help&result=harder&fit=wrong)
- [About the same and too early to tell](https://josephniemchak.com/feedback?type=practice&source=Did%20This%20Help&result=same&fit=too_early)
Fit is optional.
If adding fit makes the answer feel bigger, skip it.
The most useful practice feedback is small.
If you only share one thing, share the first answer: easier, harder, or about the same.
Stop here if that is enough.
The tiny answer is a complete result.
If more detail is useful and public-safe, add:
1. State before.
2. Practice tried.
3. Result after.
4. Whether the fit felt right, wrong, or too early to tell.
Optional deeper review:
Skip this unless you actually want to inspect the result.
1. What did I try?
2. What was my state before?
3. What is my state now?
4. Did this support function, recovery, or growth?
5. Which dimension of well-being seemed affected?
6. Did the fit from [[Practice Fit Map]] seem true?
7. What is the next better action?
The goal is not to prove every practice works for everyone.
The goal is to let the graph learn what helps real people take wiser next actions.
## Source Of Meaning
This note is grounded in result capture, well-being review, and Joe's desire for the Mynd to become useful through lived evidence.
## Relationship Over Time
This note is connected to the public feedback form, but its first job is still simpler: help a person notice one tiny result and stop safely.
It should stay small enough that easier, harder, or about the same feels like a complete answer.

## Tensions
Feedback can improve the graph, but personal well-being data should not be casually collected or exposed.
## Question
Did the practice help enough to keep, change, or stop?
